We comply with Twilio's Messaging Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines, to ensure responsible messaging and communication practices.
Opt-In Consent
We will only send you SMS messages if you provide explicit opt-in consent. You may provide consent by:
- Entering your phone number in our opt-in form and confirming your agreement to receive SMS messages.
- Texting a keyword (e.g., "START" or "SCRIBE") to our designated phone number.
By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from Talk To Scribe containing links to your generated essays and occasional service-related updates. Consent is limited to these purposes and does not extend to marketing messages unless explicitly stated.
Sender Identification
All SMS messages will clearly identify Talk To Scribe as the sender. Our phone number and business name will be visible in the message or associated with the sending number.
Opt-Out Mechanism
You may revoke your consent to receive SMS messages at any time by replying with a standard opt-out keyword, such as "STOP," "STOPALL," "UNSUBSCRIBE," "CANCEL," "END," or "QUIT." Upon receiving an opt-out request, we will send one final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

Message frequency depends on your usage of the Service but will typically be one message per essay generated. We do not send messages designed to evade detection or engage in practices like "snowshoeing" (spreading messages across multiple numbers to avoid detection).
Retention of Consent Records
We retain proof of your opt-in consent (e.g., timestamp, phone number, and opt-in method) as required by law and Twilio's policies. This data is stored securely and may be retained even after you opt out, in accordance with local regulations or best practices (e.g., TCPA compliance).
